Ole Miss Rifle Sets Sights On Tiger Invitational

OXFORD, Miss. - The Ole Miss rifle team will travel to Memphis on Thursday to participate in the Tiger Invitational, which will be held at the Rangemaster Shooting Facility.
The Rebels, led by senior Keely Stankey and junior Kim Coffey, are ranked No. 8 in the 2011 Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association (CRCA) preseason poll. Ole Miss defeated Memphis 4643-4606 last season in a competition Feb. 2 in Oxford, and the Rebels also bested the Tigers at the 2011 Great American Rifle Conference (GARC) Championships.
Other teams shooting at the Tiger Invitational include Jacksonville State, Tennessee-Martin and UAB.
The Rebels will also continue the Ole Miss Invitational through Sunday at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center in Oxford. The two-week event began last weekend with Ole Miss scheduled to compete beginning on Saturday.
