Rebels Take Part In Special Graduation Ceremony

OXFORD, Miss. - Members of the Ole Miss track and field and women's golf teams received their degrees in a special graduation ceremony Monday afternoon at the Johnson Commons Ballroom.
The special ceremony was held to honor the graduating members of the track and field team who were in Baton Rouge, La., last weekend competing in the SEC Championships and members of the women's golf team who were participating in the NCAA Central Regional in Columbus, Ohio.
Track and field members participating in the ceremony included Kristin Bridges, Aria Gaines, Logan Waites and head manager April Cameron. Women's golf members participating included Ashley Lance and Haley Millsap, both of whom graduated magna cum laude.
Chancellor Dan Jones was on hand to present each graduate with her diploma. New athletics director Ross Bjork also spoke at the ceremony, congratulating the graduates on fulfilling their dream of a college degree and competing at the highest level academically and athletically.
