Hey Rebel Nation!
We have arrived in beautiful Vail, Colorado! Being from a small town in North Alabama, I have never been west of Arkansas, so this is going to be the experience of a lifetime for me! It truly is an honor for me to represent Ole Miss not just this week, but every week. I can only find one word to describe our view of the Rocky Mountains from our condo window…humbling! I can't wait to see what else is in store for us this week!
After coming back from Charleston, we made a game plan for this week's Golfweek Conference Challenge! We immediately began working on getting our bodies ready for the immense elevation change by running ramps and doing intense cardio circuits.
Our strength coach, Jami Clinton, really pushed and motivated us in the gym these past few weeks. On the course, we prepared just as hard. Both of our coaches this week helped us with different short game shots, primarily a high-pitch shot that lands softly. We had a really productive practice Friday, and you could really feel the positive energy in the air! Our goal while we are in Vail is to continue with our process. We have brought a lot of heart, passion and competitive spirit to Red Sky Ranch Golf Club!
