Rebel Blog: Haley Sanders At The Cougar Classic

We have arrived in beautiful Charleston, South Carolina for our first event of the 2012-2013 season. This is the sixth year Ole Miss women's golf has kicked off the season at Yeaman's Hall, and this year's team is ready to do some work out there on the course.

We had a productive practice round today, picking targets and getting a feel for the greens. We have learned the importance of putting together a game plan and sticking to our process, and that will be the key to success for us this week. After our practice round, we made our way to the best part of the Cougar Classic--the FOOD! We filled our plates and tummies with chicken, Mac 'n' Cheese and peach cobbler. We are fueled and ready to go!

Yeaman's Hall is a venue of tradition, and it has become a great tradition for our team to compete here in Charleston. We are looking very forward to the next three days and the birdies that are to come! You can follow us at olemisssports.com or golfstat.com
