Kallberg, Lindmark Advance At USTA Futures

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Ole Miss men's tennis players William Kallberg and Stefan Lindmark are one win away from qualifying for the main draw of the USTA Players' Choice Open as both won their third round matches in qualifying Sunday at the Highland Park Tennis Center.
Kallberg defeated Walker Duncan of the United States 6-4, 6-4 in the third round of qualifying. He will face the fourth seed, Ilya Polonsky of Russia, in the final round.
Lindmark defeated the third seed, Patrick Daciek of the US in the third round 7-6(5), 6-3. He will face David Fox of Great Britain in the final round.
Both Kallberg and Lindmark are seeking to join teammate Nik Scholtz in the main draw. Scholtz earned an automatic spot in the main draw with his ATP ranking of 651.
