With today's win, Andy Kennedy has become the all-time winningest coach in Ole Miss history with 145 victories passing BL Graham.
Ole Miss has won seven of the last nine meetings with Auburn including a 63-61 victory on the Plains earlier this season.
The Rebels are 14-1 at Tad Smith Coliseum this season and 6-1 in SEC play.
The Rebels are off to their best start to a season after 27 games (20-7) since 2000-01.
Senior F Murphy Holloway pulled down nine boards versus Kentucky and passed Walter Actwood's Ole Miss record of 945 career rebounds. He is now the all-time leader with 998 career boards.
Junior G Marshall Henderson made eight 3-pointers to tie the school record for threes in a game. He tied record held by Keith Carter and Chris Warren.
