MEET THE PRESS: Matt Mott Monday Press Conference

Ole Miss head coach Matthew Mott met with members of the media on Monday as part of his weekly press conference to discuss his team's off week work and the upcoming matches at Kentucky and South Carolina.
Opening Statement…
"This was on off weekend for us. It was exactly what we needed to get everyone healthy and fresh, and ready for a five-game stretch. We play Kentucky and South Carolina this weekend. Kentucky is tied with us in the league, currently both sitting at seventh. We are one spot ahead of South Carolina. This is certainly a big weekend for us on the road. The girls are in good spirits. We are getting much healthier. This week and a half off has been great for us. We are excited for the last five games and make a big run to try and qualify for the SEC Tournament. We are certainly trying to continue to build our resume for our shot at the NCAA Tournament."
On feeling effects of the success of the football program in recruiting efforts...
"Absolutely. I was out recruiting all week this week. I was going to through the airport and I could not believe how many people knew that we beat Alabama. Everywhere we go, they are talking about our success. It is awesome for our brand and it opens up avenues for us to talk about other sports."
