OXFORD, Miss. - Ten of Ole Miss' athletics teams scored above the national average (82 percent) in graduation success rate (GSR), while men's tennis, women's basketball, women's golf, soccer, volleyball and rifle posted a perfect 100 GSR.

"Graduation is our National Championship," said senior associate athletics director Derek Cowherd. "Our team stresses that graduation can not only change the trajectory of an entire family for the better, it can provide a sense of accomplishment and confidence that just winning a game can't provide. `Finishing' may be a clichรƒยฉ to some, but the Ole Miss Student-Athlete Development team, coaches, advisors and faculty believe in doing the little things, the right way and finishing with a degree in hand... Because that is the most important `win' a student can have on their resume."

Women's golf received a perfect GSR for the sixth consecutive year, while women's basketball and soccer each earned a perfect GSR for the second year in a row. Men's tennis and volleyball both registered a perfect GSR for the fourth time. Rifle recorded a perfect GSR for the first time.

Baseball, men's cross country/track and field, softball and women's tennis joined the other teams with a GSR above the national average.
