OXFORD, Miss. -- Hidden from all the chaos coming from the Grove on Saturday, the Ole Miss Rifle team hosted their second annual "Shoot Pink" match at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center, benefitting breast cancer research.

The Rebels finished fourth in air rifle, while placing fifth in smallbore, for a total score of 4603 and sixth place overall. Freshman Jessica Haig led Ole Miss with an aggregate score of 588 in Air Rifle. Nadia Hata followed with a 586.

"There is a lot to look forward too, indeed, as this is an extremely young team without a single upperclassman," head coach Valerie Boothe said. "However, that means sophomores Sarah Emery, Nicolle Thiry and Alison Weisz will need to step up and lead this team. They appear up to the challenge."

The Rebels travel to Lincoln, Nebraska this weekend to take on Nebraska and Murray State on Friday and Saturday, respectively.
