COLLEGE STATION, Texas (AP) - Junior Jarvis Summers had a team-high 18 points and senior Marshall Henderson added 16 points, but the Rebels fell to Texas A&M 71-60 Saturday night.

Jamal Jones scored 21 points and grabbed five boards to lead Texas A&M, who outscored the Rebels by 11 in the second half to break a 33 all game open.

The Aggies outscored the Rebels 30-24 in the paint, and their 50.9 percent from the field (27 of 53) marked their best effort in seven contests. Jordan Green earned the start in the absence of Faybon Harris and Smith and turned in a career high 16 points.

Both the Rebels and Aggies are now 17-12 (8-8 Southeastern Conference).

The Rebels will take on Arkansas in Fayetteville on Wednesday, Mar. 5 at 7 p.m.
