No. 11 Rebels to Host Shoot Pink Match

OXFORD, Miss. â€" October marks Breast Cancer Awareness month, and the Ole Miss rifle team is getting into the action with their third annual Shoot Pink Match Saturday at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center.
Promotions ...
The first 100 fans will receive a Shoot Pink T-shirt and fans can earn 20 Rebel Rewards points. Action begins at 8 a.m. with smallbore, followed by air rifle.
The Competition ...
Ole Miss will shoot against No. 13 ranked Army West Point in the morning and then welcome Georgia Southern in the afternoon. The Black Knights have a new coach, Web Wright. Saturday will be their first competition of the 2015-16 season. Georgia Southern shot a 4,349 in their opening match of the season at the SEARC 2 Meet.
Rebel Rewind ...
In their last action, Ole Miss shot a school record 2354 in air rifle at the Ole Miss Invitational. Junior Alison Weisz equaled her personal best of 594. Sophomore Jessica Haig shot a personal best 592 and sophomore Kristyn Trump finished with a PR of 585.

"We are ready to be back in action. Since this is Army's first match, we haven't seen them in competition. We have been focusing on our performance and are taking this match as another opportunity to increase our qualification scores."
