OXFORD, Miss. -- One of the biggest fall tournaments of the year begins this weekend, as the Ole Miss men's tennis team will compete in the Saint Francis Health Systems ITA All-American Championships in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The 10-day event begins Saturday with the pre-qualifying rounds at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center and concludes on Sunday with the finals. The qualifying rounds run from Oct. 5-7, concluding with the tournament's main draw, Oct. 8-12.

Who's Going?
Six Rebels will kick off the All-American in the pre-qualifying round. Sophomore Zvonimir Babic, freshman Fabian Fallert, junior Vinod Gowda, sophomores Grey Hamilton and Gustav Hansson, and redshirt freshman Robert Mounger will represent the Rebels this weekend. All six will need to win their four matches to join fellow Rebels Ricardo Jorge and Filip Kraljevic in qualifying. Senior Stefan Lindmark, who is ranked No. 44 in the nation, is already in the main draw. Ole Miss will have one doubles team in qualifying with Lindmark and Hansson.

Rebels at the All-American
The Rebels have claimed singles and doubles titles at the All-American. In 2004, three-time All-American Catalin Gard won the singles title and in 2008, Jonas Berg and Bram ten Berge took home the doubles crown.

What's at Stake?
Singles quarterfinalists, doubles finalists and consolation champions will receive an automatic entry into the USTA/ITA National Indoor Intercollegiate Championships on Nov. 12-15, held at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in Flushing Meadows, New York.

Quoting Head Coach Toby Hansson
"We are extremely excited to have a strong contingent headed to Tulsa for the All-American. This is one of the top tournaments in the fall and our guys will have an opportunity to face many of the nation's top players."
