Rebels Head to ITF Futures

OXFORD, Miss. -- Members of the Ole Miss men's tennis team will head to Birmingham, Alabama for the Players' Choice Open ITF Futures, which begin this weekend with qualifying rounds at the Highland Park Tennis Center.
Qualifying begins Friday and runs through Monday. The main draw takes place Nov. 3-8.
Who's Going?
Last year Rebel senior Stefan Lindmark advanced from the qualifying to the second round of the main draw. Joining Lindmark at this year's tournament are Fabian Fallert, Grey Hamilton and Filip Kraljevic.
Quoting Head Coach Toby Hansson
"It's great for the guys to be able to play in Futures events in the fall and try and earn ATP points for down the road in their careers. Playing in USTA events gives our guys a chance to play against really good competition, and it will help us prepare for the spring season."
