Rebels Shoot School Record in Air Rifle

OXFORD, Miss. - In their home opener Saturday, the Ole Miss rifle team shot a school record in air rifle with three members posting a personal best at the Ole Miss Invitational at the Patricia C. Lamar National Guard Readiness Center.
School Record in Air
The Rebels posted a school record 2354 in air rifle led by junior Alison Weisz equaling her personal best of 594. Sophomore Jessica Haig shot a personal best 592 and sophomore Kristyn Trump finished with a PR of 585. Freshman Harley Gardner turned in a 583.
Weisz tops in Smallbore
Ole Miss fired a 2281 in smallbore, led by Alison Weisz' 576. Jessica Haig posted a 575 and Harley Garnder a 571.

"We are on the right track and keep progressing. We are still losing more points in smallbore than we should, but I am really proud of how they are all performing."
The Rebels are back in action Oct. 17 hosting Army and Georgia Southern.
