Kraljevic Wins Opening Match at All-American

TULSA, Okla. - Ole Miss men's tennis freshman Filip Kraljevic advanced to the second round of qualifying at the ITA All-American Championships Monday with a straight set win against Indiana's Daniel Bednarczyk.
In a tight match against the Hoosier senior, Kraljevic won the first set in a tiebreaker 7-6(4) and then took the second set 6-4 to advance. Kraljevic will face Auburn's Marko Krickovic in the second round. Krickovic beat a qualifier in the first round 6-2, 6-3.
Junior Ricardo Jorge lost his opening round qualifying match to Miami's Christian Langmo in a close two-set affair, 7-6(6), 6-4.
Qualifying Doubles
Gustav Hansson and Stefan Lindmark will pair up again and for the first time this fall, in the qualifying doubles, which begins Tuesday.
What's at Stake?
Filip Kraljevic is seeking to join Stefan Lindmark in the main draw, which starts Thursday. This is the second national championship tournament of the 2015-16 season including the nation's top Division I players.
