Friday Hoops Game Moved to 4 PM

OXFORD, Miss. - To accommodate other athletic events scheduled for Friday, the Ole Miss Basketball season opener against Northwestern State has been moved to a 4 p.m. tipoff, it was announced Tuesday.
The game was moved from its originally scheduled tip of 6 p.m. to accommodate fans who also wish to attend the Rebels' volleyball match against Texas A&M at 6 p.m., Ole Miss Soccer's NCAA Tournament opening round match against Murray State at 7:30 p.m. and the Oxford High School Football state playoff game scheduled for 7 p.m. The Ole Miss women's basketball team also plays its annual Kid's Day game at 11 a.m. against Mississippi Valley State to open the day.
Children 18-and-under will be admitted free to the game and all other tickets are $5. Stefan Moody commemorative posters will also be given away at the game.
