On the game…
"We have really struggled shooting the ball … When you can't make an open one, you have to drive it. Northwestern State led the nation in offense. They led the nation in poorest defensive efficiency as well. They mix and match and play a lot of switching. Georgia Southern did the same thing. You can't run typical offense because everything is a switch. Sebas (Sebastian Saiz) had 24 points and 17 rebounds because they switched. A lot of times, he had their point guard or two-guard on him. We just threw it to him, and he had a pretty good night."
On Stefan Moody...
"He's pretty good when he can get a head of steam. There was a little confusion because we couldn't run normal motion with those switches. He just put his head down. He was 1-for-5 (from 3). Some guys when they go 1-for-5, they have to shoot another five. We've had some of those guys in our program. He doesn't have to do that. He can drive that thing, and he's athletic."
On the offense…
"I really thought in the preseason that (the 4 spot) would be one of the strengths of our team. It's going to have to be because we need a second and third scoring option. Obviously, Moody is going to be option one. Everybody in the country knows that, so they're going to game plan accordingly. We now have a guy in Sebas we can throw it close to. We've scored 90 and 82, so we're still scoring at a high volume based on pace of play and opponents. Some of that stuff will change. We've got to get production out of that four spot because both of those guys (Tomasz Gielo and Anthony Perez) are capable of helping us offensively."
