Post Game Quotes - Arkansas

Recap

Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy

On the last shot…
"I would have preferred Jarvis (Summers) to get a little deeper and stay to his right hand. My philosophy is in that situation, they just hit a big, emotional shot, it's better to attack in a broken floor. I thought we were pretty passive out of the gate. Jarvis had an angle, so we were going to see if he could make a play with his right hand. He decided to cross and take a floater."

On Arkansas' winning basket…
"My view was blocked a little bit. Anytime they are under 10 seconds in the shot clock or game clock, we're going to switch the ball screen. That's what we did. Dwight (Coleby) did a great job of walling up. I couldn't see what happened on the other side. I don't know if someone got caught staring at the ball because I didn't think he had anywhere to go. If we stayed in line defensively, it would have forced him to throw the ball back away from the basket. Obviously we didn't rotate, and Watkins made the floater."

On the game…
"It was a high-level game. It was very physical. When you get to February basketball, it's played like this. I'm for it; that's the way it should be played. It was a very physical game between two teams that are fighting for their lives. We made the shot Thursday night in a highly contested game. We missed the shot tonight, and Arkansas made the play. We didn't lose the game. Arkansas won it. They earned the win."
