Post Game Quotes - Georgia

Recap

Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy

On the game...
"The telling stat is 23 made field goals on 17 assists. They were moving the ball. We had 23 made field goals on 10 assists. We only had 11 turnovers, and we got to the foul line more than them. They go 11-for-23 (from 3-point range). We go 6-for-29. It's easy to figure out from there. We're 9-6 in this building, the most losses I've had in my nine years. If you can shoot 45 percent from the floor, you're probably pretty efficient offensively. We've done that three times in 15 games in our own building. It's mind-boggling to me. We've tried everything we can psychologically. We just have not been able to be efficient offensively. When it's time to step up and make a play, Georgia made them. Georgia made more than us, and they deserved to win."

On beginning the half with Aaron Jones...
"I'm trying to find some energy. I'm sick and tired of being the most energetic guy in the building. After nine years, it's wearing on me. When I have to bring fire in a game such as this because these opportunities are so valuable. I know our guys care, but they certainly show it in a different manner. I challenged them a little bit and AJ (Aaron Jones) really responded."

On playing LSU...
"We better play better. We better play like we're playing for our NCAA Tournament because we are. We have to play with a hunger and a desire. (Tonight) wasn't an energy thing. Our energy was fine. You have to make some plays. When you get hit with contact, you have to go through them. When you have an open 3 off a ball reversal, you have to step up and make it. That's what NCAA Tournament teams do."
