GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Senior Julia Jones and freshman Natalie Suk both posted ranked wins Friday at No. 2 Florida, but the Gators won a huge doubles point on their way to a 5-2 win against the No. 13 ranked Ole Miss women's tennis team at the Alfred Ring Tennis Complex.

Florida (14-1, 6-0) gained the early momentum by rallying to win the doubles point. All three matches went to tiebreakers, with Florida winning 8-7(6) at No. 3 and 8-7(5) at No. 2. The Rebels were up a break at No. 3 and held a 6-3 lead in the tiebreak.

The Gators picked up straight set wins at five and six and then the clincher at No. 2, as No. 6 Josie Kuhlman came back to beat Rebel freshman Arianne Hartono, 3-6, 6-2, 6-0.

Jones, ranked No. 12 in the nation, knocked off No. 5 Brooke Austin 6-4, 7-5 to improve to 23-6 overall and 13-3 at No. 1 singles. She also won her 96th career match and needs just four to become the fifth Rebel to join the 100-club.

Suk rallied to upset 32nd-ranked Belinda Woolcock 3-6, 6-2, 6-4 at No. 4 singles for her biggest win as a Rebel.

The Rebels (11-5, 3-4) will travel to Columbia, S.C., Sunday to face South Carolina at 11 a.m. CT.
