OXFORD, Miss. -- Five members of the Ole Miss rifle team earned Collegiate Rifle Coaches Association Scholastic All-American Awards.

Earning the award were sophomore Alison Weisz and freshmen Nadia Hata, Jessica Haig, Sarah Sroka and Kristyn Trump.

This is the second year in a row for Weisz to receive this honor. She also received the team Scholar-Athlete of the Year Award at the end of the year banquet.

"I always love to see the team members get rewarded for their academic accomplishments," head coach Valerie Boothe said. "I feel it is a true sign of commitment when they show both their athletic and academic talents."

To be eligible for Scholastic All-America honors, student-athletes must maintain a grade point average of 3.20 or higher.
