Summer is upon us and in preparation for the 2015 season, OleMissSports.com is bringing fans of Ole Miss Soccer and the Rebel Nation a look at the players who will make up the latest incarnation of the Rebels on the pitch.

We'll take a look at what makes each player unique, how they came to choose Ole Miss as their home and family for their collegiate career and what they hope to do after college.

1. What made you choose Ole Miss and how did you know it was the right place for you to play soccer?

I chose Ole Miss because I wanted to be a part of a program that was changing and growing to be great. I wanted to contribute to that change. Coach Mott appreciates good soccer and smiles. He is possession oriented and that fits my style of play. In the same regard, the beauty of the university sold itself. I love the campus. I also wanted to experience something different and the South gave me that.

2. What are your goals for the season?

I want my senior season to be the best, most successful season yet. I want to get back to the NCAA Tournament. That's my ultimate team goal.

3. What is your favorite athletic memory at Ole Miss?

All of my favorite memories involve time off the field with my teammates. I especially have enjoyed the three times I've experienced the Rookie Revue on bus rides.

4. Where do you see yourself in 10 years?

I have no idea and that's why I like it. I'm not sure where I'll be in one year or what I'll be doing. I don't have a desire to start a 9-5 job I'll be doing the rest of my life. What's the rush? I want to live somewhere different and do something interesting.

5. What's something most people don't know about you?

When I was a little girl my family always called me Mowgli after the main character in the Jungle Book. I always ran around the house naked and apparently looked similar to the animated boy. Despite my appetite, I've always been thin and stick-like.

6. If you could meet anyone living or dead (or fictional), who would it be and why?

Benjamin Franklin.

7. Do you have any superstitions before a game?

No. If we win, it's because of our talent, hard work and tenacity. If we lose, it's because we made game-changing mistakes and/or the other team was better. Superstition and luck doesn't affect that outcome of most games.

8. If you had a day off from soccer, what would you do?

Get ahead in school and take a nap. A single day isn't that long.

9. What is your favorite class at Ole Miss and why?

Photojournalism with Professor Steele was one of my favorite classes because it challenged me to look at the world and people with different perspectives and to take risks. The class developed my creative eye and brought out my best work.
