On the game…
"The one guy that you can't leave is the one guy that really took complete control of the game. KeVaughn Allen is a good player. We made an emphasis all week that this is the one guy that you cannot let get going because if he gets going, he's capable of putting up huge numbers. I think we all witnessed that."
On falling behind early…
"There are so many things that we don't do well. We can try to hide some of those areas, but we have to be really good in the other things. When we're not good in the other things and you catch a team that statistically through 16 games had not shot the 3 well, we knew that if they got us in high-ball screen with (John) Egbunu, he's pretty good dunking it. We knew that, so we had to support. We had some atrocious errors in scouting. They were loose and free. They had only won one road game, at Navy, the season opener. What you need on the road is some confidence early. We certainly fueled that. Then, (Stefan) Moody picking up two fouls. He got the first one, and then he got the second one out of frustration. You were trying just to hold the fort down a little bit. We had it down to 11. Our goal was to try to get the game to single digits and give ourselves a chance in the second half. Not only do we not defend at all in the first half, but we have foul trouble across the board. We continued to struggle to shoot it, missing free throws. They just destroyed us on the glass."
