OXFORD, Miss. - Ole Miss soccer senior Gretchen Harknett has been named to the All-SEC Second Team, the league office announced Sunday.
The senior finished the regular season with three goals and three assists, and is currently tied for the most starts of any Rebel in school history with 84. She's also tied for third in career games played with 85, and is one of the nation's active career leaders with her 85 games played.
The All-SEC honor marks the second of Harknett's career after she was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team in 2013. She currently has 13 career assists and 13 career goals, and will finish her career having played in 7,000-plus minutes on the pitch.
Harknett and the Rebels open SEC Tournament play Monday in Orange Beach at 3:30 p.m. CT against No. 7 seed Tennessee.
