OXFORD, Miss. - On a beautiful sunny day at the Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center, the No. 19 Ole Miss men's tennis team won a close doubles point and never let up, sweeping South Alabama 7-0 to improve to 5-2 overall.

Quoting Head Coach Toby Hansson…
"We are very pleased with the effort from all the guys. From the first point to the last, we played with a purpose. They challenged us in doubles, but once we got that, we didn't let up. They kept working and really supported each other today. If we keep doing that, we are a very tough team to beat anywhere."
On Stefan's match…
"Stefan got off to a good start, but his opponent is a good player, they've played each other before in juniors. Stefan knows the guy can play and he wasn't surprised the guy came back and was up a break in the second set. Stefan was able to turn it around and keep his composure to get the win."
On Fabi's match and the team support…
"Fabi was up a set and 3-0 and then I am not sure exactly what happened, because I wasn't up there the entire time. The part I did see, the other guy was competing hard. I am really pleased with the other guys on our team staying up there and cheering for Fabi. He was down 5-0 and then had triple match point against him in the super breaker. It's really nice to see."
