BATON ROUGE, La. - The Ole Miss women's golf team wrapped up play at the LSU Tiger Golf Classic at University Golf Club in Baton Rouge on Tuesday. The Rebels finished in 16th place with a three-day total of 320-323-318-961.

"It was another day of tough conditions and we had our best round of the tournament today," head coach Kory Henkes said. "We saw a lot of great things out there but too many big numbers down the stretch."

Sophomore Laura Hoskin (Arrowtown, New Zealand) led the way for the Rebels in the final round, firing a 6-over par 78 highlighted by four birdies, including back-to-back birdies on Nos. 17 and 18.

"This is a learning process with our young team and we will continue to keep growing each and every week," Henkes added. "We look forward to getting home and working hard for our home event next weekend."

The Duke Blue Devils claimed the tournament title for the third time in the 34-years history of the LSU Tiger Golf Classic while Blue Devil Celine Boutier took medalist honors.

Ole Miss will head back to Oxford and regroup before hosting the 2016 Rebel Intercollegiate April 1-3 at the Ole Miss Golf Course.

Along with Ole Miss, the Rebel Intercollegiate field includes East Tennessee State, Fresno State, Harvard, James Madison, Memphis, Murray State and Redlands CC. The Rebels will also welcome Samford, Southern Miss, Troy, Tulsa, Western Carolina, Western Kentucky and Yale.
