Ole Miss Completes Play in Gainesville

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Ole Miss women's golf is headed back to Oxford after finishing 13th at the SunTrust Gator Invitational this weekend.
Senior Alison Hovatter (Meridianville, Ala.) led the way in the final round Sunday, firing a 5-over par 75 on the way to a tie for 46th place.
The Alabama native had a birdie on the day, while carding 11 pars to lead her team.
Junior Maria Toennessen (Grimstad, Norway) made her return to the course for the Rebels after being sidelined due to multiple knee surgeries. She carded eight pars in a nine-hole stretch on her way to a 6-over par 76.
No. 8 Florida finished atop the leaderboard after carding a 290-279-293-862 with North Carolina State's Rachael Taylor claiming medalist honors.
The Rebels will be in Oxford for the majority of the upcoming week before heading west once again to play in the Clover Cup hosted by the University of Notre Dame. This will be the fourth straight year Ole Miss will be part of the field at Longbow Gold Club in Mesa, Arizona.
