Rebels Named To SEC Winter Academic Honor Roll

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - Seven Ole Miss student-athletes from men's and women's basketball and rifle were named to the 2015-16 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll announced Friday by SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey.
A total of 667 student-athletes were named to the 2015-16 Winter SEC Academic Honor Roll, which is based on grades from the 2015 spring, summer and fall terms.
Rifle led the way with four earning the honor, including junior Alison Weisz who earned a bronze medal at the NCAA Championships in air rifle. Other honorees include sophomores Jessica Haig, Sarah Sroka and Kristyn Trump.
Terry Brutus represents men's basketball, and Shequila Joseph and Shandricka Sessom made the list from women's basketball.
