OXFORD, Miss. - Throughout the summer, OleMissSports.com will check in with former Ole Miss men's tennis players on the pro circuit.

Rebels in the current ATP World Rankings…
Nik Scholtz - 342
Tucker Vorster - 356
Jonas Lutjen - 619

Moving up…
After dealing with injuries for most of his time since graduating from Ole Miss in 2013, Lutjen is moving in the right direction. He has jumped 266 spots in the ATP World Rankings since this time last year. Scholtz is also going up, as he was ranked No. 550 a year ago.

Last week on Tour…
Two-time All-American Jonas Lutjen reached the finals of singles and doubles in Kaltenkirchen, Germany. He lost a three-setter in the singles final to the No. 1 seed. Four-time All-American Nik Scholtz reached the quarterfinals in singles in Harare, Zimbabwe.

This week on Tour…
Lutjen moves on to Kamen, Germany where he will compete in singles and doubles. In Zimbabwe, Scholtz is the No. 2 seed followed by Vorster at No. 3. The pair will also team back up in doubles as the No. 2 seed. Scholtz won his first round singles in straight sets, while Vorster will face last week's winner in Zimbabwe, Benjamin Lock, who recently wrapped an All-American career at Florida State. In doubles, Scholtz and Vorster are the No. 2 seeds and won their first round Monday in straight sets to advance to the quarterfinals. They have won six titles together on the pro circuit.
