Wolcott Wins Chattanooga Choo Choo Invitational Tournament

OXFORD, Miss. - Senior Ben Wolcott claimed the 2016 Chattanooga Choo Choo Invitational Tournament Championship with a final score of 16-under par at the Council Fire Golf Course in Chattanooga, Tennessee Wednesday.
The Dickson, Tennessee native fired a 3-under par 69 in the final round to outlast Tennessee Volunteer Michael Nagy. Wolcott posted six birdies in the final round, including the tournament-clinching birdie on the par-5 18th hole.
Wolcott opened the tournament with a 5-under 67 Monday before catching fire Tuesday. His three-round clinic was highlighted with an 8-under 64 Tuesday, tying the tournament's scoring record in a round, after firing seven birdies and an eagle on the par-4 ninth hole in the second round. Through 52 holes, Wolcott finished with 20 birdies and posted a score of 5-under on all par 4s and 11-under on par 5s.
