OXFORD, Miss. - While the collegiate tennis season doesn't kick off four another couple of weeks for the Rebels, four members of the Ole Miss men's tennis team are in Claremont, California this weekend for the qualifying tournament at the Claremont USTA Pro Classic.

The 128-player qualifying round will begin Friday and run through Monday. The main draw will take place Sept. 12-18 at the Claremont Club.

About Claremont Pro Classic
The USTA Pro Classic in Claremont features many current and former college tennis players seeking to earn ATP points.

Who's Competing?
Freshman Tim Sandkaulen, junior Gustav Hansson, senior Ricardo Jorge and sophomore Filip Kraljevic made the trip. It marks the second trip to California in the last five months for Hansson, Jorge and Kraljevic, who along with the rest of their teammates played the first and second rounds of the NCAA Championships in Berkeley, California last May.

Quoting head coach Toby Hansson
"Playing in Future events in the fall provides great exposure for these guys and allows them to try and earn ATP points to further their careers after college. The competition they face at this USTA tournament will help to prepare them for the rest of the fall and spring season."
