Recap

Ole Miss Head Coach Andy Kennedy

On Rasheed Brooks' condition…
“He is stable right now. He is in the hospital. They’re running tests on him but he is stable and conscious. He doesn’t remember what happened during it.”

On responding after Brooks' seizure…
“We have been challenging them to get out of themselves and focus on others. When something so dramatic occurs, it forces you to stop thinking about missing a free-throw or throwing the ball out of bounds. It put our focus elsewhere. And to our guy’s credit, once we started having a little bit of success, we made plays in the open floor. We got on a spread and that energy helped us carry on.

On minutes played tonight…
“We don’t have a lot of bodies right now. Our hope is that Deandre (Burnett) is responding better every day and that he will be back with us sooner than later if he doesn’t have any setbacks.”

Tennessee Head Coach Rick Barnes

On what happened at the end…
“I never felt like we were really in control, you know they were going to make a push at it at the end, I thought they took it to another level and I don’t think they matched the energy. We started taking bad shots”

On the team's effort…
“We were being careless with the ball we’d take bad shots and we fouled way too much.If you put a team on the free-throw line 42 times, that’s a lot of fouls. I felt like when we were up you’d expect them to make a push. When they punched we didn’t punch back and they kept punching.”

On Terence Davis…
“I thought he was terrific. I also thought (Breein) Tyree was terrific, I thought he controlled the whole game.”
