Ole Miss Rifle Falls to West Virginia

The Rebels are now 3-1 in the Great American Rifle Conference.
West Virginia set a new air rifle record of 2392, finishing just two off their school record in the combined aggregate. 2016 Air Rifle Olympic Gold medalist Ginny Thrasher led the Mountaineers with a 599. Melica Babic (598), Elizabeth Gratz (598) and David Koenders (597) were the other counters.
Rebels Earn 3 Personal Bests…
Ole Miss fired a 2364 in air rifle, the second best score in school history. Senior Jessica Haig led the Rebels in air with a personal best 595. Freshman Emily Cock turned in her career best with a 592. Junior Harley Gardner (589) and freshman Kamilla Kisch (588) rounded out the Ole Miss counters.
Smallbore
Freshman Abby Buesseler led the team in smallbore with a personal best of 576. Randi Loudin came in second with a 575, Harley Gardner shot a 574 and Kamilla Kisch posted a 568 for a total score of 2283 for the Rebels.
Marsha's Minute
"Smallbore was again a little rough for us, but I'm pleased with our team's performance in air rifle," said head coach Marsha Beasley. I'm pleased we're seeing some personal bests and that we again were close to the school record."
