Thoughts from head coach Mark Beyers…
"We've played eight straight top 25 teams, so we know every single one of these teams are good. If we play well, we have a chance to beat all these teams. Today was a great battle overall. The State of Mississippi should be proud that we have two really good college tennis teams battling it out. I am sure it was a great match for the fans, but obviously we would have loved to come out on top."
On what he said after Wednesday's match…
"I challenged the team after the Auburn match telling that you can't control the outcome, but you can control your energy level and how much you're willing to fight through ups and downs in matches. We did a much better job of that today than on Wednesday."
Up next…
The Rebels will head to Nashville, Tennessee for the SEC Championship, which begins on April 19. The draw will be released at the conclusion of the regular season this weekend.
