"Overall, another solid day," head coach Mark Beyers commented on Day 2. "I really like what I am seeing from our girls. We are fighting for every point and making our opponents earn everything. It's awesome to see a lot of the hard work we are putting in practice start to pay off in matches."
The quarterfinal round of eight includes sophomore Sabina Machalova and senior Tea Jandric, who join Janatova and will all compete Sunday at 10 a.m. Machalova secured a spot after another smooth victory, taking down league foe Taylor Bridges (LSU) 7-6, 6-2.
