Rebel Trio Pulls in All-SEC Soccer Honors

Kizer Named to First Team, Foster Tabbed Second Team, Stackpole Garners All-Freshman Nod

OXFORD, Miss. – On Sunday, the Southeastern Conference released its postseason awards as voted on by the league's head coaches, with Ole Miss' CeCe Kizer, Channing Foster and Haleigh Stackpole being recognized as All-SEC.

After leading the conference in both goals and assists during the regular season, Kizer was selected First Team All-SEC for the third-time in her career, becoming the third Rebel in history to earn first team honors three times and just the sixth player in program history with at least three All-SEC laurels.

In the final season of one of the most celebrated careers Ole Miss has ever seen, Kizer has bagged 13 goals and dished out an additional eight assists for 34 points on the season. Those marks rank ninth, eight and eighth most in a single season at Ole Miss, respectively. Earlier this season, the Overland Park, Kansas native sparked the Rebels to a 3-2 come-from-behind road victory over No. 9 Auburn, breaking the school-records for goals and points in a career in the process.

For the second-straight season, Foster was voted Second Team All-SEC by the league's coaches, joining Rebel greats Jennifer Hance and Danielle Johnson as the only players in school history to earn All-SEC honors in the first two seasons of their collegiate careers at Ole Miss.

Compared to the incredibly prolific start to her freshman season a year ago, the sophomore forward came out of the gates a little slow in 2018 but turned things on when SEC play hit. Foster has scored eight goals in all this season, chipping in one assist as well. Foster's eight goals was good for a tie for sixth most in the SEC, while her five scores in league-play was tied for third.

After asserting herself immediately as a Starting XI fixture and leading the Rebels in minutes during the regular season, Stackpole was named to the SEC's All-Freshman Team, giving Ole Miss one honoree on the freshman squad in three of the last four seasons.

A skilled and reliable player at the holding midfielder position, the Ft. Bragg, North Carolina product was a calming presence in the middle of the pitch for the Rebs, relieving pressure on the defense and getting the Ole Miss attack started. The freshman scored five times and assisted on two more goals during the year, saving her scoring for the biggest moments with four game-winning goals.

Kizer, Foster, Stackpole and the Rebels turn their focus to the postseason, with Ole Miss opening up its SEC Tournament run on Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. CT against Arkansas. The match will be broadcasted live from Orange Beach, Alabama on the SEC Network.
