Semifinal Sunday: Fallert and Reynolds Continue Through Doubles Draw

TULSA, Okla. -- The Ole Miss men's tennis duo of Fabian Fallert and Finn Reynolds continue with their impressive run at the Saint Francis Health Systems ITA All-American Championships, held at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center on the campus of the University of Tulsa.
The senior/sophomore pair lands in the Main Draw semifinals Sunday after pulling off their second upset in their last three matches, downing the 12th-ranked duo of Henrik Korsgaard and Alex Ribeiro of Virginia Tech 7-6(2), 6-3. 'Finn and Fabi' took down the 15th-ranked pair in the opening round (twins Igor and Ivan Saveljic, NC State) and have now won six consecutive matches as they battled through the qualifying and main draws.
No. 43 Fallert and Reynolds will face Jimmy Bendeck and Sven Lah from Baylor, another team that battled through the qualifying draw. Bendeck and Lah defeated No. 24 Brian Berdusco/Johannes Ingildsen (Florida) and have also won six straight matches.
In singles consolation play, junior Tim Sandkaulen, who carries an ITA Preseason Ranking of No. 15, fell 6-2, 4-6, 4-6 to North Carolina freshman Brian Cernoch in quarterfinal play.
