Soccer Inks Nine Signees to Class of 2019

OXFORD, Miss. – On Thursday, Ole Miss announced its recent signing class, with nine incoming freshmen set to join the Rebels for the 2019 season.

Head coach Matt Mott and staff searched high and low to find some of the top talent in the nation, bringing in players from five different states in Illinois, Indiana, Mississippi, North Carolina and Tennessee. See below for information on each of Ole Miss' signees.

FAIN BUETE • WAKE FOREST, N.C. • WAKE FOREST

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time letterwinner at Wake Forest High School in Wake Forest, North Carolina … Plays forward and midfielder … Earned Cap-8 All-Conference and NCHSAA All-Region honors in both 2016 and 2017.

CLUB/ODP: Played at the club level for NC Courage Academy … Selected to the regional and national pools.

PERSONAL: Full name is Florence Fain Buete … Born January 18, 2001 … Daughter of Gary and Fain Buete … Has two brothers, Joseph and Will … Mother ran cross country at Lander University, while father played soccer at Lander … Uncle, Scott Buete, played soccer at the University of Maryland and also played professionally for the Chicag Fire, Atlanta Silverbacks and Baltimore Blast.

MICAELA DUSSEAULT • COLLIERVILLE, TENN. • HUTCHISON SCHOOL

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-time letterwinner at Hutchison School in Memphis, Tennessee … Played center back and center midfielder … A two-time all-region and all-state honoree in 2016-17 … Registered 12 assists and added three goals as a sophomore … Tallied 10 assists and scored four times during junior season … Missed freshman and senior campaigns due to injury.

CLUB/ODP: Competed at the Club level for Lobos Rush Club, Memphis Lobos WPSL, the Rush National Select Team and Tennessee Soccer Club ECNL … Named a captain for Lobos Rush Club in 2017 and 2018 … Helped lead the Club to Tennessee State Cup Championships in 2015 and 2018, advancing to the Southern Regional Championship Final in 2018 … Helped the Rush National Select Team to the Disney Showcase Championship in 2016, also travelling with the team to Germany that year … Played for the ODP Tennessee Team and ODP Region III Team … Competed under ODP in Boca Raton, London and Costa Rica.

PERSONAL: Full name is Micaela Catherine Dusseault … Born May 17, 2001 … Daughter of Mike and Sue Dusseault … Attended numerous Ole Miss soccer and tennis camps growing up.

SAYDIE HOLLAND • SYCAMORE, ILL. • SYCAMORE

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-time letterwinner at Sycamore High School in Sycamore, Illinois … Plays forward and midfielder … Helped lead the Spartans to the national finals in 2018 as well as four-straight state championships from 2015-18 … Entering her senior season, holds the school records for career goals (77), single-season goals (29, 2018) and single-season postseason goals (7, 2018) … a two time SHS Player of the Year (2017-18) and three-time all-conference honoree (2016-18) … Named conference MVP in 2018 … scored 25 goals with 13 assists as a freshman … tallied 23 goals and 19 assists during sophomore season … scored 29 times and added eight assists as a junior … named academic all-conference … also played basketball and tennis.

PERSONAL: Full name is Saydie Alan Holland … Born April 28, 2001 … Daughter of Brad and Amy Holland … Has three siblings, Ella, Ian and Josie.

JENNA KEMP • GERMANTOWN, TENN. • HOUSTON

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-time letterwinner at Houston High School in Germantown, Tennessee … Played center midfielder … Helped lead the Mustangs to stat championships in 2015, 2017 and 2018 as well as a national high school championship in 2017 … Named a two-time All-American (2017-18) … Garnered all-state and all-region honors three times (2016-18) … In 2017, named the Best of Preps Memphis Player of the Year and Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year … Selected to the THSSCA Asenior All-Star West Team in 2018 … Scored 52 goals and registered 51 assists in her career … Scored 20 times with 19 assists as a junior … Tallied 16 goals and 20 assists as a senior.

CLUB/ODP: Competed at the club level for 01 Lady Lobos Rush … Scored 15 goals and added 14 assists during junior year … Also played ODP for the Tennessee State Team.

PERSONAL: Full name is Jenna Grace Kemp … Born Aug. 18, 2001 … Daughter of Greg and Ramona Kemp … Has three brothers, Justin, Harrison and Grayson … Great Grandfather Carroll, father Greg, uncles Jeff and Jon and brothers Justin and Harrison all attended Ole Miss … Brother Justin played baseball at Ole Miss and UAB, while her other brother Grayson currently plays baseball at Memphis.

ELLE MUIRHEAD • MADISON, MISS. • MADISON CENTRAL

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time letterwinner at Madison Central High School in Madison, Mississippi … Played outside back and midfielder … Helped lead the Jaguars to the 2016 MHSAA Class 6A State Championship with an undefeated record of 22-0-1 … MCHS ranked the No. 1 soccer team in the nation by MaxPreps … also competed in cross country.

CLUB/ODP: Competed at the club level for Rush National Select Team (2011-18) … Named a team captain for numerous tournaments … Helped lead the team to the 2016 Disney Showcase Championship … A Mississippi Rush team captain … A Birmingham United Soccer Association Discovery Player … Played with the Mississippi Blues semi-pro team during the summer of 2018 … A frequent guest player for Rush Tennessee Lobos … Plays in ODP for the Mississippi State team and Region III team … Competed with Region III team in Costa Rica and Germany.

PERSONAL: Full name is Regan Ellington Muirhead … Born July 18, 2001 … Daughter of Jack and Allison Muirhead … Both parents attended Ole Miss … Father was a four-year letterwinner on the Ole Miss football team … Mother worked with the Rebel football team as an athletic trainer and team manager.

MORGAN O'CONNOR • OXFORD, MISS. • OXFORD

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-time letterwinner at Oxford High School in Oxford, Mississippi … Played forward and midfielder … Helped lead the Chargers to back-to-back state championships in 2016 and 2017 … A three-time all-state, all-district and district MVP honoree … Named the Mississippi Gatorade Player of the Year and the US Soccer Coaches Player of the Year in Mississippi in 2017 … Has scored 112 goals and registered 48 assists … Tallied 27 goals and 19 assists as a freshman … Scored 55 times, adding 18 assists during sophomore season … Registered 27 scores and nine assists as a junior … also competed in track and field.

LIZAH PISTORIO • CHARLOTTE, N.C. • PROVIDENCE

HIGH SCHOOL: A two-time letterwinner at Providence Senior High School in Charlotte, North Carolina … Helped lead the Panthers to the 2016 state championship … As a freshman, surrendered just five goals, making 74 saves and recording 14 shutouts … Did not play during sophomore season … Allowed two goals, posting 62 saves and nine shutouts as a junior … Occasionally played forward during junior season, scoring four goals … Also competed in basketball and swimming.

CLUB/ODP: Played at the club level for 01 CSA South Elite G … Participated in the U18 Development Academy … Trained at the US Training Centers in Winston-Salem and Greensboro, North Carolina in 2014 and 2015.

ELYSE REED • CARMEL, IND. • CARMEL

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-time letterwinner at Carmel High School in Carmel, Indiana (2017-18) and Bernards High School in Bernardsville, New Jersey (2015-16) … Played center midfielder … Helped lead the Greyhounds to a state championship in 2018 … Named all-district in 2018 and all-conference in 2017 and 2018 … Registered 12 goals and 15 assists during her career … Also competed in softball and basketball.

CLUB/ODP: Played at the club level for FC Berna (2015-17) and ECNL FC Pride (2017-19).

PERSONAL: Full name is Elyse Ann Reed … Born May 13, 2001 … Daughter of Chris and Mary Ann reed … Has three siblings, Conner, Hayley and Tyler … Lived in three different foreign countries growing up (Mexico, England, United Arab Emirates).

JILLIAN RHIAN • HATTIESBURG, MISS. • PRESBYTERIAN CHRISTIAN SCHOOL

HIGH SCHOOL: A five-time letterwinner at Presbyterian Christion School in Hattiesburg, Mississippi … Played midfielder and forward … Earned all-conference honors in 2017 and 2018 … Named the Coaches Player of the Year each year from 2015-18 … Scored 80 career goals, totaling 51 assists … Scored 10 goals with six assists as a freshman … Tallied 20 goals and eight assists during sophomore season … Registered 26 scores and 19 assists as a junior … As a senior, recorded 24 goals and 18 assists … Also competed in basketball and cross country ... helped the Bobcats to cross country state championships in 2013 and 2014 … A first team all-conference honoree in basketball.

CLUB/ODP: Competed at the club level for Hattiesburg Futbol Club, Birmingham United Soccer Association and the Mississippi Blue of the WPSL.
