Favorite Moments
"One of my favorite moments was the second day of GARC Championships. The first day was smallbore and no one shot as good as we could have, we all had a rough day. We went back to the hotel room and had our team meeting later that night and collectively snapped each other out of our attitudes and got in a better mindset for the match the next day.
"After that meeting we walked into the air rifle match on day two and we all shot like we could, having confidence in our skills. After the match that day and (getting to stand up on that podium) we were all happy to be Ole Miss Rebels. I felt so much school pride in that moment."
On the Team's Persistency
"Realizing the persistency that this team has to overcome a bad day and keep moving forward, made us all really proud to be a part of this team. That was definitely one of my favorite moments of my Ole Miss experience so far."
On the Transition to College
"When I was in high school I had a really hard time trying to find the balance between a student and an athlete. I was good at school, but I didn't have to try nearly as hard as I have to in college. Drew Clinton our academic advisor for the team has been my rock during this transition."
"He helps me organize my time between shooting and school and reminds me that while shooting is extremely important, I can't be here without the school. Finding the balance between shooting and school was something I definitely got better at thanks to Drew.?"
