Rifle to Host Smallbore and Air Rifle Camp

OXFORD, Miss. - Want to learn skills for Olympic style smallbore and air rifle from coaches with national championship and international experience? The Ole Miss Rifle team will hold a smallbore and air rifle camp for students in grades 9-12 Aug. 17-19 at the Ole Miss Rifle Range located next to the Oxford Conference Center.
Participants: The camp is for students who will be in grades 9-12 in the fall of 2018. Female participants will be given priority registration on a first-come, first-serve basis, until August 3. Males interested in attending should register as soon as possible. If spaces are available after August 3, they will be given to males based on date/time of registration. Males who register early will be notified no later than August 6. After August 6, any remaining spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Camp is limited by range size.
Camp Fees: $225
Fees include lunch at the range each day and a t-shirt. Price will not be pro-rated if athlete cannot attend all three days. Payment must be made by check. Fees for female registrants must be received by August 3 or space will not be held. Fees are expected upon notification of acceptance into the camp for males and anyone else who registers after August 3.

Camp Staff: Participants will be instructed by GARC Coach of the Year Marsha Beasley and GARC Assistant Coach of the Year J.P. Lucas as well as current team members.
What to Bring: Camp participants must provide their own equipment to include competition rifles, pellets (500) and .22 ammunition (400-500 rounds standard velocity) as well as shooting jacket, shooting pants, glove, sling, etc. Attendees are asked to bring a notebook and pen as well as a water bottle.
