Gustav Hansson Wins again in Finland

Stay up to date at OleMissSports.com with former players who are currently playing professional tennis around the world. In this week's update Gustav Hansson captures his second consecutive singles title in Finland.

Hansson Captures Third Career Singles Title…
Rebel All-American Gustav Hansson went back-to-back in Finland, as he captured the singles title in Hyvinkaa, Finland last Saturday after winning in Kaarina the week before.

As the No. 4 seed, Hansson only lost more than three games in a set twice, and didn't drop a set on his way to the final, where he cruised against top-seeded Laurent Rochette (France) 6-2, 6-3. It's the second consecutive week for Hansson to defeat Rochette after beating him in the semifinals in the F1 Futures in Finland.

With his third career title, Hansson has now won 10 straight matches.

Career-High Ranking
In this week's ATP World Rankings, Hansson is up to a career-high No. 540, which does not includes last week's title.

Next up…
Hansson is scheduled to play some Futures in Sweden in late September and might play a Challenger event before that.
