Rebel Soccer Picked Seventh in SEC Preseason Coaches’ Poll

OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss has been predicted to finish seventh in the Southeastern Conference as voted in the SEC Preseason Coaches' Poll, announced Tuesday by the conference office.

The Rebels finished the 2017 season in ninth place in the league, concluding conference action with a 3-5-2 record.

Florida has been picked to capture the conference championship in 2018, while 2017 title winner South Carolina was dropped three spots to No. 4.

Ole Miss returns 16 letterwinners from last season's NCAA Tournament team, while adding in a talented class of six newcomers. The Rebels open up the regular season on Friday, battling Louisiana at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium, scheduled for a 7 p.m. kick.
