2018-19 Schedule
OXFORD, Miss. –Ole Miss fans will have several opportunities to see the Ole Miss rifle team in action this fall, as head coach Marsha Beasley announced the 2018-19 schedule. Four of the Rebels' five home matches will take place this fall.
The season kicks off Sept. 29 at home against Jacksonville State University. October begins with a road trip up to West Point, N.Y. for a tri-match with Memphis and Army on Oct. 13 before shooting against Army in their first GARC match Oct. 14.
Following their trip to New York, the Rebels will return home for three straight beginning with Navy Oct. 21. On Oct. 27, defending NCAA Champion Kentucky comes to down followed by North Carolina State Oct. 28.
Ole Miss closes out the fall with a match at Murray State on Nov. 17.
Following the holiday break, the Rebels kick off the spring Jan. 12 in Columbus, Ohio against Ohio State and Alaska-Fairbanks. The next day (Jan. 13), the Rebels will compete against Akron and Alaska-Fairbanks.
After a trip to Morgantown, W.V. on Jan. 19 to face defending GARC Champion West Virginia, the Rebels will return home for a GARC match against Nebraska on Feb. 2. The following week (Feb. 9), the Rebels will head north on I-55 for their GARC match against Memphis, before closing out the regular season with the NCAA Qualifier at Jacksonville State.
Akron will host the GARC Championships Feb. 23-24. West Virginia is hosting the NCAA Championships March 8-9.
All home matches are held at the Ole Miss Rifle Range located next to the Oxford Conference Center off Hwy 7 and Sisk Avenue.
The Rebels return five of their top scorers from last year's team, which earned the highest regular season GARC finish (3rd) in program history and set the school record for aggregate score (4687).
