Sandkaulen Ranked 15th in ITA Preseason

TEMPE, Ariz. — Four Rebels begin the fall season ranked in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Preseason Rankings, as announced by the organization late Tuesday.
German native Tim Sandkaulen begins his junior campaign ranked 15thin Singles, one of six men to be ranked in the Top 15 in the SEC. Sandkaulen finished last spring ranked No. 29 in singles and No. 23 in doubles, and was awarded with First Team All-SEC honors. Last season, he defeated former world No. 1 junior Alex Geller, helping the Rebels knock off fourth-seeded Stanford in the second round of the NCAA tournament.
Sandkaulen is also ranked in the doubles segment, joining partner Filip Kraljevic at No. 37. Senior Fabian Fallert and sophomore Finn Reynolds also made the list, appearing at No. 43.
The men begin their fall campaign Friday at the USA F25 Futures in Laguna Niquel, Calif.
