Ole Miss Receives Honor for Ninth-Consecutive Year

OXFORD, Miss. – For the ninth-consecutive year, Ole Miss has been named a recipient of the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award, receiving the laurel for the 2018-19 academic year.

The laurel is bestowed upon all teams across all levels of the NCAA who possess a cumulative team GPA of 3.00 or higher. 13-of-14 SEC programs received the academic award, with Ole Miss' 3.51 team GPA ranking as the third-highest in the league.

The Ole Miss soccer program has been awarded the United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award 15 times since 2000, including nine of the 10 years during the Matt Mott era.

A total of 989 college teams (345 men, 644 women) earned the Team Academic Award, including 255 schools who had both their men's and women's programs among the recipients.
