Men’s Hoops to Host Selection Sunday Watch Party

Join the Rebels at The Pavilion for the NCAA Tournament Selection Show
OXFORD, Miss. – The Ole Miss men's basketball team will host a Selection Show Watch Party at The Pavilion as the NCAA Tournament field is announced Sunday, March 17 at 5 p.m. CT. The event is open to the public with complimentary popcorn and non-alcoholic beverages available.
Doors open at 4 p.m., and the Selection Show will be broadcast on The Pavilion videoboard beginning at 5 p.m. The Plaza doors and south doors will be open for entry. Open parking will be available in The Pavilion parking garage. Prior to the start of the show, the remainder of the Ole Miss baseball game (if still going on) will be shown on the videoboard.
The Rebels are on the verge of their first NCAA Tournament appearance in four years. Under the leadership of SEC Coach of the Year Kermit Davis, Ole Miss has produced the biggest turnaround season among Power 5 schools. The Rebels went from 12-20 a season ago to 20-12 this year for an eight-win improvement. Predicted to finish last in the SEC, Ole Miss tied for sixth with a 10-8 mark in conference play.
No team with 20 wins and 10 SEC wins have ever been left out of the NCAA Tournament. Experts have the Rebels as a lock for the 'Big Dance' with several predicting them to be a No. 9 seed. However, Ole Miss will officially find out its seeding and location when the brackets are revealed on Sunday.
