Eighth Annual Caravan Includes Good Friday Breakfast at the Pavilion at Ole Miss
OXFORD, Miss. – Ole Miss football coach Matt Luke and basketball coaches Kermit Davis and Yolett McPhee-McCuin headline the speakers next week, as the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip launches its 14-stop caravan.
The series of fan meetings, which also features Vice Chancellor for Intercollegiate Athletics Ross Bjork, kicks off Sunday evening (April 14) in Atlanta, and the week will conclude in Oxford with a Good Friday breakfast at The Pavilion at Ole Miss. The eighth-annual BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip (#RRT19) will reach 11 cities next week, notably Chattanooga, Nashville, Houston (TX) and seven Mississippi towns. The tour will visit Washington D.C. on June 20, while stops in Jackson (MS) and Memphis will take place in July (dates TBA).
In addition to the speakers, the meetings include autograph opportunities, photo booths, official merchandise, football posters, an exciting video look at the university and information tables for the Athletics Foundation and the Alumni Association.
In its first seven years, the BancorpSouth Rebel Road Trip has visited 40 markets and nearly 25,000 fans. The tour has touched 10 states and such major metropolitan cities as Birmingham, Charlotte, Dallas, New Orleans and New York City, among others.
