Soccer Announces Date Change for Season Opener

Rebelsโ Match with North Alabama Bumped up to Aug. 22
OXFORD, Miss. โ Fans will have one less day to wait for Ole Miss soccer's season opener as it was announced on Wednesday that the Rebels' showdown with North Alabama has been moved up to Aug. 22 at the Ole Miss Soccer Stadium.
The Rebels will kick off a slate of 10 regular season home matches with a meeting with the Lions, scheduled for a 7 p.m. CT kickoff. Before beginning the regular season, Ole Miss will play in a pair of exhibitions, at home against Samford on Aug. 12 and at Central Arkansas on Aug. 16.

The 2019 Rebels will report for preseason camp on Aug. 5. Ole Miss returns 15 players from the 2018 squad that advanced to the Second Round of the NCAA Tournament, adding a talented crop of 10 freshmen.
