Rebels Travel to Compete at Mississippi State vs. SEC foes

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Ole Miss men's tennis faces four SEC opponents at MSU's Bulldog Challenge this weekend from Friday to Sunday.

Four Ole Miss student-athletes will compete against Alabama, LSU, Mississippi State and Tennessee in three days of singles and doubles matches at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre. In each matchup, doubles will be played first, followed by singles. All matches will consist of no-ad scoring. Doubles matches are one pro set, and singles are best of three regular tiebreak sets.

Ample Rest

The Ole Miss Rebels are competing in their first event since the Auburn Invite (October 2-4). The Rebels got off to a hot start to begin the fall 2020 season, winning nine matches at Auburn before three weeks of rest.

Winning Ways

Ole Miss owns a 4-2 overall record in doubles thus far this season, with the Rebel doubles teams of Jan Soren Hain with Cotter Wilson and Brady Draheim with Tim Sandkaulen both owning 2-1 records. Sandkaulen and Wilson also both lead the team in singles with a 2-1 record.
