Men’s Tennis Announces Home SEC Schedule Changes
3/2/2020 | Men's Tennis
Ole Miss will now play all Friday contests at 5 p.m. and Sunday showdowns at noon
OXFORD, Miss. -- Ahead of their home SEC opener on Friday, March 13, Ole Miss Men's Tennis has announced schedule changes for all home league matches this season at Palmer/Salloum Tennis Center.
To better coordinate with multiple sporting events on campus during the same time, the Rebels have moved up match start times by one hour. All Friday contests will now begin at 5 p.m. CT, and Sunday matches will begin promptly at noon.
The nonconference doubleheader with Southern Miss and Alcorn State will remain the same, with the Rebels facing the Golden Eagles at 1 p.m., and the Alcorn match to follow at 4 p.m. that same day.
The Rebels enter the week ranked No. 14 in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings, their highest of the season after posting a 10-2 record this spring.
A full promotions schedule for all remaining home matches can be found in the links provided.
UP NEXT
Ole Miss continues its road trip, heading to Athens and Knoxville next weekend for a conference weekend with Georgia and Tennessee. The Volunteers carry a No. 10 ranking into the beginning of SEC action.
